Tyres

What tyres are people running on their X4's ?
Mine has Pirelli P Zero, not sure if they are runflats

Just wondering if anyone has had a good/bad experience using a different tyre / runflat / non-runflat / etc.. on their X4

Im going to go for the P zeros again as 35k on the rears is very good and the fronts look like they have another 25-30k left on them!

I just got the car, 1 previous owner with 15k miles on it. It has the P zero's and there is almost zero tread left after 15k!

I'm looking at the goodyear eagle f1 asym 2's, they are runflats but a bit cheaper than the Pirelli's.

I struggled to see any "decent brand" non-runflats at the required size 275x35 R20 and 245x40 R20. goodyear do a non-runflat for the rear size, but not the front!

I looked at the goodyears.. However a friend told me they didnt last many miles on his car.

Did the previous owner tow much or just have heavy right foot syndrome??

PS Costco had an offer on Goodyears (£40 off if you buy two from memory).

I managed to find the P Zeros at camskill here for £256 each

managed to get the Goodyear's runflats for the back at £200 each, plus fitting from mytyres.co.uk
the fronts have a little left on them so probably another month or so, but will get the same again.

Just in case anyone is interested, replaced my rears today @ 38K. Original Pirelli Pzeros had 1.9mm and 2.5mm remaining respectively.

Went for the same again Pzeros B/C rated 73db cost £503 total from my local STS Tyre Pros

Fronts still have 4mm left..
