So disappointed that the BMW X4 Diesel won't be coming to North America

I am pretty disappointed that the X4 won't be coming to North America with a diesel engine. By all counts, it seems to me that the diesel version is the best of the bunch.

The xDrive35d version is faster than its petrol counterpart, in fact, it has the best performance out of the entire line up. The xDrive35d version can go 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. That is 0.3 seconds faster than the xDrive35i version.

I know that Americans aren't the hugest fans of diesel engines, but you'd think that when a diesel engine offers the best performance, people would be swayed.

Time to start a letter writing campaign or something. I really want to test drive a diesel X4, and in the end I would probably buy it too.

well the word is that the x3 will be bringing its diesel mill over, so if you really have your heart set of the 35d you'll have to jump ship to the 3er...

we will see
sometimes they bring it in later.

but not offering it during launch isnt too bad of an idea

they want to see how popular this model will be first
