I do find it mildly interesting that sales of the X series are fueling the growth of BMW sales, double plus interesting is the fact that none of the X vehicles have powertrains manufactured at Spartanburg. BMW ships engines and gear boxes from Germany to South Carolina for install...

suv sales fuel alot of companies

mercedes as well. lexus, acura, etc. PORSCHE

alot of luxury car brands survive just off the SUV sales.

not sure why though. i mean.. suvs are great.. but they arent the only way to buy a car.

Porsche is a big one, all you see these days from Porsche are Cayenne's, and every so often a 911 or Panamera.
